2005 O.M.O.
(Odd Man Out)

Last year we created a blend of Petite Verdot and Malbec which we called Odd Man Out (O.M.O.) because these two varietals are rarely featured in wines but used instead for blending with other grapes. We found the combination created intense flavors and complexity and you agreed. The reception for this wine was extraordinary and we quickly sold out of the 2004 vintage. We found the 2005 vintage even more alluring. This second vintage of O.M.O made with a 50/50 blend of Petite Verdot and Malbec will blow you away with intense fruit and a nose that fills the room. A well integrated mix of red and black fruits glides across the palate with a full and rich mouth feel. Long intensity on the finish makes this wine a great one to enjoy now, but the structure of this wine will allow it to age gracefully for the next 5-7 years.
