2007 Chandler Reach Syrah
Our first ever single vineyard Syrah spoke so much about the terroir with its amazing depth and complexity it needed to be showcased by itself.
Chandler Reach is located on a north-facing slope overlooking Red Mountain, these forty two acres of estate vineyards have been an essential part of our wines since the beginning. The vineyard produces high quality fruit, and this vintage Syrah shows an amazing depth and complexity like we have never seen before.
This wine was fermented in 75% New French Oak (Seguin Moreau and Demptos) with the remaining 25% from a second vintage used Taransaud barrel. A dark purple/black color swirls in the glass giving off scents of violet, licorice, black fruits, and jam. A silky long finish shows this wine will age well for over 10 years! Drink alone or with your favorite piece of Beef or Duck.
