2007 Cabernet Franc

In 2003 we produced our first ever single vineyard Cabernet Franc from the Chandler Reach vineyard totaling 25 cases.  From the 2007 vintage we bottled 95 cases of Cabernet Franc with 75% of the fruit from the Chandler Reach vineyard and 25% from Conner Lee vineyard. We felt that these barrels showed the classic flavors of this varietal, and even more showed the height Washington Cabernet Franc can reach.

This is a broad shouldered wine with hints of raspberry, cherry, plum and scents of violet and a long velvety mouth feel. A wine of immense complexity, age for 2 years and see it blossom over the next 7-10 years!
